Last week, six FFA members attended the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana.  The members of FFA have been preparing for this convention for a long time.

Brittney Zavona, Amber Legore and Haley Snouffer created a booth publicizing and informing others about Maryland FFA and Agriculture.  Kyle Schulze, Taylore Hardisty and Brendon Hardisty represented South Carroll and Maryland FFA in the Meats Evaluation Career Development Event. Each member contributed greatly to the overall team performance.

Amber Legore went around getting monetary donations or actual items from the national convention. “We got to interact with a lot of kids, it was really fun.”. They had a great time educating children about Maryland FFA and Agriculture.

Individually, Kyle Schulze received silver and Taylore and Brendon Hardisty both received bronze.  The team received bronze. The next convention the team is preparing for is public speaking, taking place in March. Congratulations to everyone for all the hard work!!
