On Friday, October 26th, SC Varsity Football played Manchester Valley for their senior night. The Cavs happily won the game with a final score of 29-22. During the first quarter of the game, Dylan O’Neill made an interception that prompted the team to go 74 yards in 7 plays. By the end of the quarter, SC was leading 9-0. During the second quarter, Mason Gavin succeeded in finding Ryan Gallagher for a 76-yard touchdown. Nino Torres added an extra point, and by half they Cavs led 16-7. During the second half of the game, Ryan Gallagher managed to break through the Maverick’s defense in order to score a touchdown. SC strongly went into the final quarter with a 22-14 lead. Near the end of the fourth quarter, Mason Gavin capped off a 9-play, 55-yard drive with a 5-yard QB keeper. The game came to an end shortly following that play, giving SC a win on their final home game night of the season.
