On Tuesday, December 11th, the Boys Varsity Basketball Team played Marriotts Ridge. The boys suffered a 69-47 loss, but don’t take it too hard. Coach Carnes said Tuesday’s opponent might have been the toughest his squad will see in 2018-19.“We lost four starters from last year, so we’re just trying to mesh together as a team,” said SC guard Dylan Graham, one of nine seniors on this season’s roster. “We did summer and fall stuff, but nothing is like a real game. I guess it’s just meshing together, but I think we’ll figure it out.” Graham led the Cavaliers (0-2) with 15 points, and fellow senior guard Carson Scott added 12. The team looks to use the first few games to get their chemistry together in order to be successful during the rest of the season. Their next game is against Fallston on Thursday, December 13th at home. Be sure to come out and support them as they revamp their play!
