What’s Your favorite Christmas Movie SC?

Christmas is coming up, which means it’s time to watch your favorite festive movies!  Sit back, relax, eat food, and watch your holiday favorites with your family!  43 students of SC were asked what their favorite movies were.  Results varied but there was one sure winner and a close second.

The options for favorite Christmas movies included: How the Grinch stole Christmas, Christmas with the Cranks, A Charlie Brown Christmas, The Nightmare before Christmas, Christmas in Connecticut, Elf, Polar Express, A Christmas story, Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer, A Christmas Carol, Santa Claus, The Family Stone, and Home Alone.  With a total of 13 votes, Elf won the contest with How the Grinch stole Christmas in second place with a total of 8 votes.

Elf (91% liked this movie)- Buddy was accidentally transported to the North Pole as a baby and was raised among Santa’s Elves.  Buddy doesn’t feel like he fits in, so, in his elf uniform, he goes to New York to find his father.  His father is Walter Hobbs and after a DNA test proves that he is the father, Walter proceeds to try and make a connection with Buddy.

How the Grinch stole Christmas (90% liked this movie)- The Grinch decides to ruin Christmas for everyone in Whoville with the aid of his dog, Max.  He comes down from his home on the mountain top and steels all the presents and everything holiday related from everyone in Whoville.  However, his mission is compromised when he meets Cindy Lou Who.
