Indoor Track races at annual Frostbite Invitational

On December 21st, 2018, the Indoor Track Team ran their final meet before winter break at the PG County Sports Complex. The team participates in the Frostbite Invite every year, and has continued to place well in almost every event. For the girls portion of the team, Megan O’Neill led in points, placing second in the 500-meter run, and fourth in the 800-meter run. Brooke Flanigan took second in the 55-meter hurdles, and Zelda Hirsch was second in pole vault. Sarah Langille placed fourth in the hurdles, and Lexi Winkler placed fourth in the 500-meter run. For the boys, Patrick Tunkel led in points, taking second in pole vault. The boys 4-by-400-meter relay team of Josh Federici, Chris Forman, Patrick Tunkel, and Sam Robinson also scored points by coming in sixth place overall. The team has their next meet on Friday, January 4th at Hagerstown Community College. Be sure to wish them luck on their fourth meet of the season!
