The Golden Globes recognize numerous TV shows and movies with nominations and awards. It’s also a time for celebrities to get dressed up for the red carpet. And while a lot of celebrities displayed dazzling outfits, others’ outfits were questionable. Here are 5 of the best and worst looks from this year’s Golden Globes.

The Best

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga looked amazing head-to-toe, from her matching blue hair to her dazzling, poofy dress. Her incredible dress was actually a reference to Judy Garland’s dress in the 1954 movie A Star is Born; Gaga starred in the 2018 remake of the film.

Constance Wu

This dress was simple, yet gorgeous. The light colors combined with the poofy skirt look adorable, especially tied together with an orange bow.

Emily Blunt

Emily Blunt looks elegant as usual in this silver dress.

Lupita Nyong’O

Lupita is sparkling in this glittery blue dress.

Lili Reinhart

Lili looks stunning in this elegant, poofy red dress.

The Worst

Kate Mara

The combination of the weird high ponytail and long peach gown makes for an unflattering look.

Timothee Chalamet

It’s hard to say what Timothee is wearing here. According to Louis Vuitton, he’s wearing an “embroidered bib,” but that only makes it weirder.

Judy Greer

This could have been a good look, but unfortunately the suit looks way too big and ill-fitting on her.

Laura Dern

Ruffles can be fun, but this dress is made entirely of ruffles, and it doesn’t help that she blends into the red carpet.

Lucy Liu

There’s way too much going on in this dress.
