NAHS, or National Art Honors Society, is now accepting applications from prospective new members.
According to the NAHS website, the organization “recognizes high school students who demonstrate an outstanding ability and interest in art. It also promotes the highest standards in art scholarship, character, and service by bringing art education to the attention of the school and community.”
South Carroll’s NAHS is planning on re-painting the mural in the math wing stairwell and much more! Ms. Fritts, the teacher sponsor for the club, hopes to gain as many members as interested, and to help facilitate student ideas and make them come to life.
Applications can be turned into Ms. Fritts by October 4th. To learn more about NAHS, you can visit their website at https://www.arteducators.org/community/articles/151-national-art-honor-society-chapter-benefits
